School Times
Our Calder Primary school day is 8.45am to 3.15pm. This equates to 32.5 hours per week.
Reception and Class 1 (Years 1 and 2): Please use the Infant Playground gate for drop-off and collection.
Class 2 (Year 3/4) and Class 3 (Year 5/6): Please use the Main Playground gate.
Breakfast Club is available from 7.45am. It is £3.50 per session which includes a breakfast of cereals, yoghurt, fruit and toast. Please enquire with our office for more details.
Playtimes
Key stage 1 children have two fifteen-minute playtimes outside each day.
Key stage 2 children have a fifteen minute playtime outside each morning and a short refreshment break
between lessons in the afternoon.
All pupils have 30 minutes outside at lunch time each day and each class has 2 1 hour PE lessons each week.
